Jughead's chemistry teacher says he's a catalyst causing reactions between people. As he walks through the hallways explaining the idea to Archie, everyone he passes gets into an argument. He finally escorts a visitor to Mr. Weatherbee's office, but the visitor turns out to be a robber, taking the school payroll from the safe.; Reggie sees Jughead putting the lid on a trash can and Jughead says he lost fifty dollars. Reggie keeps trying to dig through the garbage, only to find out Jughead lost a contest where the prize was fifty dollars.; Pop kicks Jughead out for creating a hamburger that's two-feet long. Outside the shop, he uses the over-sized sandwich to beat a hoodlum. Betty treats Jughead and herself to two of the hamburgers at Pop's. When two other hoodlums come in and start trashing the Chok'lit Shoppe, Betty and Jughead use the two over-sized hamburgers to beat them silly. Pop is so happy about it he names the new sandwich the "Jughead Burgerino."; Jughead realizes he isn't in the grade school photo so he tries to find his graduation certificate. The certificate is missing, so Jughead takes a test and fails it, so he has to go back to fifth grade.; Li'l Jinx is in no mood to go outside until it begins to rain.; Jughead overhears Pop selling eclairs two for a quarter. The man only wants one for fifteen cents, so Jughead offers to take the other for a dime.; Pop offers to pay Jughead with an old ten or a new one. Jughead choose the new one and gets a crisp one-dollar bill.
