Archie prepares to duel Maurice in order to win back Veronica. He realizes Maurice is too good with a sword and too good with a pistol. He prepares to fist fight him, but a big lunk interferes and Maurice pummels him handily. Before they begin the official duel, Jughead insists Archie must slap Maurice's face with a glove. Jughead lets him use his baseball glove, which takes care of Maurice.; Jughead buys a new hat because the salesman suggests that he can't. Archie and Veronica pretend not to notice until the wind catches the hat, it lands in a puddle, two dogs fight over it, and it ends up looking just like his original hat.; Jughead gets a cast on his hand and everyone around him gets injured by him swinging his arm around carelessly.; Archie tries to keep everyone quiet, but no one knows why until a policeman yells at them for making noise in front of a hospital quiet zone.; Archie plays guitar and sings. He takes requests until Veronica asks "do you know you're in trouble?" as Mr. Lodge enters with a bat.; Li'l Jinx is proud of her new boyfriend until her father says he likes him.
