Jughead hurts Bruinhilda's feelings by commenting on her weight. He makes it up by taking her to the picnic. Because of her weight, they have trouble getting to the island by boat, so they take a raft. Once there, Bruinhilda goes to get the lunches from the boat Archie and Veronica had taken to the island, and she breaks the dock, drifting back out with the boat. When Jughead hears that the lunches are drifting away with the boat, he saves the boat and Bruinhilda with it, earning her gratitude and her lunch as well. The lunch turns out to be one sandwich each, to Jughead's disappointment.; Jughead wears disguises in school until Mr. Weatherbee confiscates them. He tries to pull a disguise off the next new student he sees, but unfortunately, it's not Jughead but the son of a prizefighter. Mr. Weatherbee makes use of the disguise kit to pretend to be the janitor.; Jughead gets attention for the stylish jacket he wears, so Reggie wants to trade him a baseball glove for it. Jughead doesn't mind, because he got the jacket complimentary for buying two sweaters. After the trade, it begins to rain and the jacket shrinks while Reggie is wearing it.; Archie tries hypnotizing the skeptical Jughead into believing he is dog. He is convinced that he has succeeded, even when Jughead puts a copy of his clothes onto a real dog and throws his voice from behind a fence.; Suzie tries to make upside-down cake by turning the cake upside down in the oven.
