Jughead makes fun of reports of shape-changing aliens, until a bus stop sign starts talking to him. The alien, which Jughead calls Charlie, is friendly, but has fun fooling Archie and Veronica.; Sally is assigned by the U. G. A. J. to get Jughead interested in girls. She tricks him into taking her on a date, but Jughead ignores her most of the time.; Teenage movie star Wednesday Thursday is going to appear at the Riverdale prom. Her career is slipping, so her manager arranges to have her escorted by Jughead, figuring if she can win him over, it will be a great publicity stunt.; Jughead is experimenting to find a way to dissolve strong glues. Instead he gets a jelly-like red blob that takes on a life of its own. It imitates the kids (in outline) and devours all the food in sight. Eventually, it tries to imitate Archie and Veronica "in a clinch" and strangles itself (off-panel.); Jughead has an uneasy feeling when he and Archie try out a new roller-coaster.; After Jughead cleans out the Lodge's refrigerator, Mr. Lodge has to order a new supply of groceries. When Jughead appears again, Mr. Lodge won't let him in unless he's already had a big supper.; The new kid has to prove he can count to ten before Shrimpy and the gang let him play hide and seek with them.; Shrimpy wants to be an astronaut, but has second thoughts when he's stuck on a tree branch and can't get down.
