Reggie is the judge at a Cinderella dance, where the girl whose foot fits his shoe will win a date of her choice at the nicest restaurant in town. Reggie convinces Jughead to pretend to be a girl, so they can arrange to both win and get the meal. Unfortunately, Ophelia Glutenschnable wears the same size shoe as Jughead, and she picks Reggie as her date.; Jughead charges Archie and Reggie to keep them out of detention. His plan to cover their books using paint backfires when Mr. Weatherbee grabs the still-wet books and gives Archie and Reggie a month of detention.; Reggie thinks he's fooled Jughead by out-balancing him using a Thermos bottle to balance on his head and only dropping it three times. He is pleased to announce that this is the gimmick that will win him the bet and that Jughead isn't allowed to use the same Thermos bottle. Jughead was carrying home a hot water bottle home from the drugstore and walks easily with the thick rubber bag on his head.; Reggie makes fun of Jughead working in a book shop, but he finds something interesting in one of the books, what appears to be a personal note from William Shakespeare to Marc Antony, the subject of the play. Jughead has been adding the personal touch to improve sales.; KO tries to get eagle eggs from an abandoned nest, but he finds out the hard way the nest wasn't abandoned, when an adult eagle shows up.; Archie wants to buy perfume for his girl friend, but when the salesman learns Archie has only two dollars, he kicks him out of the store.; Debby helps her mother clean the attic and discovers her mother's old diary. Though it talked about other men, the man who became her husband was her favorite.; Jughead overhears his parents planning to buy him a jalopy so all the guys buy him treats at the Chok'lit Shop. Back at home, his father presents him with a scale model jalopy.; Mr. Weatherbee and Miss Grundy are both impressed by how long Jughead is staying in the classroom studying after school. After they leave he gets buy trying to pull his pants off the seat where he had been stuck with glue by an unknown practical joker.; Archie and Reggie take Jughead to the train station and they make it on the train but he doesn't. It turns out, they had only come along to see him off.; Jughead's dog Rover is good at fetching the newspaper, so Jughead shoots a bird and the dog still fetches a newspaper.; Jughead blows bubble gum into different shapes.; Archie goes to Jughead's house to get a contribution for Reggie's present. He comes out with three dollars, but he admits he went in with eleven dollars.; Jughead can't help a man by giving him directions, but he quips that he's not the one who's lost.; Archie complains about the noise in his car, so Jughead suggests he let Veronica drive, implying that she is the noise.; Reggie called Jughead a wallflower because he ate so much he had a pot belly.; Archie has finished a life-saving course, so he can save beautiful babes at the beach. Reggie wants Archie to save one for him too.
