Reggie and Archie try to set up Midge and Jughead in the same room with Moose on the way. Instead, they get caught by Moose talking to Midge.; Jughead tricks Reggie by giving him copies of all Reggie's old tests to study for the mid-term exam, complete with Reggie's wrong answers. Reggie gets him back by finding a 20-year-old test and changing it to look like the current year. He gives it to Reggie as a copy of the current mid-term exam. Miss Grundy happens to dig up the same test for their mid-term and Jughead passes with a perfect score.; Jughead gets a job as a door-to-door salesman. As he makes his rounds, everything bad happens to him and he comes in completely disheveled. He was trying to sell good luck charms.; Jughead tries to carry real prospector's tools on the float in the parade. He drops one on Reggie's foot and another hits Archie in the face. He throws away the pick and it punctures the tire of their float. Dressed as Native Americans, Reggie and Archie chase Jughead through the parade route.; Leroy tells Li'l Jinx that he is protected from his babysitter by a book. He found her diary and now she lets him do anything out of fear he'll tell what he read in it. The babysitter doesn't know that Leroy can't read.; Archie proclaims he will face death for Veronica. When a bear shows up, he runs away so fast he leaves her behind. He said he would face death but that bear was alive.; Veronica offers to teach Betty how to play golf. She learned yesterday.; Betty tells Archie her golf game is improving. Yesterday she shot a 63 and today she will go for the second hole.; Jughead instructs Souphead not to ask for a second piece of cake at the party. Souphead cleverly asks for the recipe and is given a second piece without asking.; Veronica scolds Leroy for coming down the stairs so loudly. She sends him up to come down again. He comes down quietly the second time by sliding down the bannister.
