Mr. Weatherbee is hospitalized with exhaustion and the gang buy him flowers as a present. But they send Jughead to deliver the present and he manages to deliver it in a way that makes the gang think Mr. Weatherbee has died.; Betty and Veronica try to prove to Jughead and Reggie that they really do like each other deep down.; Veronica is upset that Betty is avoiding her. When Archie and Reggie go to Betty's house to try to reconcile them, they find out why Betty is avoiding her.; Mr. Weatherbee resorts to threats to get Jughead and Reggie to stop fighting in class.; A kid wants to saddle the family dog so he can play cowboy.; Jughead and a store clerk have a failure to communicate.
