Archie, Reggie, Betty and Veronica decide to explore Cobb's Cavern, a local cave. Jughead advises them against it because of possible landslides. The landslide happens, trapping the four in the cavern and it's up to Jughead to find a way to rescue them.; Betty is jealous of Veronica's wealth. Veronica invites her for an overnight visit to emphasize her wealth and get her to give up Archie. But there is a twist when Betty phones home to talk to her mother and Veronica finds herself envying Betty's close ties to her parents as opposed to her usually-absent mother and father.; Archie plans on trying out for the boxing team, but is so clumsy that his training leaves him in bad shape.; Betty decides she's going to be helpful, which sends the others into a panic, since her attempts to be helpful always backfire.
