Jughead is supposed to deliver a bottle of perfume as a birthday present for Miss Grundy, but the package gets switched with one containing explosives.; Reggie makes fun of Archie's reporting skills on the school newspaper, so Archie makes Reggie a reporter and gives him an assignment that will lead to unpleasant consequences.; Betty and Veronica want to meet a new boy, but all their attempts at flirting get sidetracked by their friends being "helpful."; Archie has a talent for identifying the brand of perfume the girls are wearing. Betty and Veronica try to see if he can follow them if they spray perfume every so often, but they get mischievous and spray Moose, which leads to trouble for Archie.; Reggie decides to practice the power of positive thinking. It gets him a date with Veronica, but Archie tricks him into telling Moose that Midge is going to kiss him.; Mr. Bunsenburner and Mr. Weatherbee think Jughead has been bitten by a tse tse fly and has contracted sleeping sickness.; Jughead wanders into the Choklit Shop during a robbery. He isn't too concerned about the robbers stealing all the money and silverware, but goes berserk when the robbers try to make off with a freezer full of hamburger.; Archie and Reggie are trying out for Prof. Flutesnoot's band and have been taking oboe lessons. Reggie tries to sabotage Archie by assembling an instrument constructed from parts of other instruments, but the Professor likes its sound for its novelty.; Jinx takes a bath before going out to play in the mud with a friend.; Dilton plays 20 games of chess at once, but has to quit because rushing from game to game is too hard on his feet.; Betty is excited when Archie phones to say he's coming over. Her mother tells her she shouldn't be so anxious. Betty agrees, but is watching for Archie with binoculars.; Archie has a magic lamp with a genie, but the genie can't help him with his math homework.; When Veronica is lying on the floor talking on the phone, the new maid just picks her up so she can vacuum under her.; When Annie tells Reggie to stop seeing other girls, Reggie decides it's time to request separate checks.
