Huey and Dimwit hear that there is a $500 reward for information leading to the capture of Buck Duckinger and his gang. Dimwit, trying to make aspirin, accidentally invents a dehydrating pill that shrinks anyone who swallows one. Papa takes Dimwit and Huey to see his boss, and while Papa is demonstrating the pills Dimwit and Huey take off after Buck Duckinger.; Dimwit and Huey follow Buck Duckinger to his hideout, where Huey dehydrates them. By the time Papa and Mr. Van Duckby find them, they have dumped the rest of the pills down the sewer, but Huey brings the dehydrated mob to the police station and rehydrates them, earning the $500 reward.; Dimwit invents a mechanical horse with a motorcycle motor, and Papa suggests ways he can make money with it.; When Katnip's annoying nephew Alikat comes for a visit, Katnip helps the mice get rid of him.; Huey chases his toy tank into an Army base.; Buzzy helps Katnip build a trap, which Katnip naturally gets caught in.
