Batman takes up a plane on an experimental flight, and, after crossing through the tail of a comet, finds himself glowing strangely and endowed with super powers. The Dynamic Duo must then race against the clock to find a cure before the glow dies away....along with Batman's life!; An insideous criminal discovers a way to charge his body like a magnet to commit crimes, but Batman, in trying to stop him, accidently becomes charged as well, making the villain's capture difficult.; While in England attending a convention, Batman stumbles into an ancient cave's "booby trap" set up years before by a sorcerer named Fangan. Robin appeals to Superman for help, as Batman believes that if he doesn't carry out Fangan's commands, he will perish.; Batman & Robin are invited to Doctor Greggson's lab to witness two new inventions: the Maximizer and the Minimizer. Unfortunately, the Maximizer plays on the Caped Crusader, who begins to grow uncontrollably, and finds he must leave Gotham City for the people's protection, allowing crime to seemingly run rampant.; While chasing down a wanted criminal, Batman is struck by lightning and falls into the harbor. When he rises out of the water, he discovers that he cannot breathe air and has literally become a human fish.; Looking for criminal Al Hackett, Batman enters a greenhouse w/exotic flowers, however, after succumbing to the strange floral vapours, he passes out. On awakening, he finds himself in the future, but he has aged into an old man and discovers that Dick Grayson is now Batman, having taken on a new junior partner.; While examining a lead-lined box Superman had brought back from outer space, Dick accidently touches a release, emitting a gas that causes him to grow bodily into manhood, thus forcing him to give up his Robin personna and to adopt a different crime fighting ID - The Owlman.; Batman inexplicably is affected by an explosion in an experimental electronics laboratory that reverses the atoms in his body.
