Veronica convices Betty to join in a beach volleyball tournement, even though Veronica isn't very good. She assures Betty that three "pros" will be there to help them. Betty agrees only to find out the 3 "pros" are a dress designer, a photographer, and a cosmetics expert.; Betty issues a challenge to Veronica while at a yard sale: to see who can put together the best outfit based on what they find. Veronica thinks that it is beneath her, but can't help but accept a fashion challenge.; When Archie and Veronica are fighting and not talking to each other, Betty tries to decide who to console.; Veronica invites Betty to her exclusive beach club, except Betty has to act like Veronica in order to be accepted. At this health club though, the girls don't swim or exercise and are all on a diet, much to Betty's dismay.
