Betty writes an article in the paper about the 10 most fashionable girls at school but leaves Veronica's name out of the list. That makes Veronica angry and she talks about Betty behind her back -- and Betty finds out. Both are hurt, and they angrily decide to terminate their friendship. Only Polly and Mrs. Lodge remind them of why they were friends in the first place.; Ginger spends time on the farm.; Uncle Quigley inherits a castle in Ireland and travels there with Sabrina.; The Communications Class is going to start a weekly TV show.; When Alex breaks his leg he has his date with Josie moved into the mansion, complete with a rock band and an audience, until the police show up and shut down his party.; Betty decides to get the grill out of storage and clean it up so she can have a barbecue for Archie.; Veronica is livid when a pledge drive appearance by Betty on the local PBS station draws bigger ratings than her appearance on a cable "famous lifestyles" show.; Nancy sets up Betty and Veronica on a blind double date with two of her friends from another school. When nobody can agree on what to do the dates are changed around several times.; Archie agrees to pose for Betty and Veronica's art class.; Betty and Nancy are out looking for deals at garage sales.; Betty has everybody talking in rhyme.; Josie and Melody compare strategies on how to keep a man.; Reggie catches Midge when she falls in class but by the time the story gets to Moose it has been turned around to Midge had fallen for Reggie and was leaving Moose.; Veronica goes shopping for a country western outfit.; Betty and Veronica think it's not fair that it's always the male birds that have colorful plumage, then Reggie and Archie show up with garishly colorful coats.; On a rainy day, Betty tries to decide what kind of cake to make for her family. Each cake choice reminds her of someone, though.; Veronica is in such a hurry to begin work on a safety poster that she causes a lot of accidents.; Li'l Jinx works on Mort's lack of self-confidence by giving him a rope to practice rope jumping and cowboy rope tricks -- none of which work out too well.; When the rumor gets started that Archie is going to be the director of the school play everybody starts to be nice to him to get a role.; When Jughead starts to insult Veronica by using big words she doesn't know, she researches big words to insult him back with.; Hap teaches Li'l Jinx how to do a crossword puzzle but she drives him crazy with the questions.; Mr. Lodge is studying a book to improve his memory.; Ethel practices talking to Jughead on the telephone.; Betty does some spring cleaning, including getting rid of Archie.; Archie interrupts Mr. Lodge's putting practice.; Li'l Jinx and Roz break the wishbone.; Jinx wears a top-hat and funny glasses, trying to get noticed by her parents.
