While out walking around town one day, Billy rounds the corner and discovers a section of town totally missing. Soon more areas disappear, so Captain Marvel looks into the situation and discovers that Sivana and his Atomizer Ray are responsible. Unless Marvel backs off and leaves the evil doctor alone, the World's Maddest Scientist threatens to kill off hundreds of city residents.; Billy announces to the public that, in the future, planes will be flying over the frozen arctic areas and will need up-to-date weather information, and, for that reason, the Whiz Weather Station was created. Billy and Mr. Morris head to that station to continue their report for the grand opening.; Mr. Tawny's invention of a bouncing shoe creates a mass market instantly and makes him a regular tycoon. But, soon, the rubber in these shoes becomes more elastic in nature as it ages and people are now bouncing out of control!; The Kid has only one more day to work in order to earn enough money to buy his outfit to wear to the dance. But he is in for a surprise when he picks up the package.; Tad decides to take a cab to an address because he has a sprained foot. However, when the cab goes out of control, the only thing Tightwad is concerned about is the meter!; Tad's son asks his father for 50 cents to go to a circus, but doesn't get the response he desired.; Pud offers a big prize in his drawing contest.; Danny is having a difficult time trying to find out what to buy for his mother's birthday.
