A Waziri girl is kidnapped. Tarzan follows her trail and comes to the city of Arrak. He finds that the girl was taken by a giant spider that serves the Arrakan queen, Mataha. Mataha forces Tarzan to fight for his life against her greatest fighters and then attempts to sacrifice Tarzan and the girl to a crocodile worshiped by the Arrakans. Tarzan kills the crocodile and escapes with the girl and returns her to the Waziri.; Tarzan and Dr. Warfield liberate a city of blind slaves.; Natongo and his adopted brother, Dan-El, win the spear-throwing contest that determines who the sub-chiefs of the tribe are. Lugongo, their father, reveals that Dan-El's biological father was a white man from the far north and that he left a map showing the location of his home.
