Elvira gives a lecture at Mastodonic University, Sinnsport, N.J.. The next day, Professor Lucifer Conal tells Elvira that Professor Eggbert died suddenly. Lucifer Conal becomes enraged to learn that punk-rocker Lawrence Q. Eggbert Jr is the will's sole beneficiary. Lawrence and Elvira are attacked by primal swamp monsters at a punk rock club. Elvira happens upon the Classics Delineated version of The Heckronomicon. They are attacked by weird otherworldly creatures, lead by Conal. When Conal reads the Heckronomicon comic, it summons a Cthulhu-like monster that carries him to another world.
