Kingo Sunen casts ex-mutant Freddie Dukes in his first ever science fiction film. Guy DeMondue plans an exhibition of Sentinels. The X-Men give the Mayor of San Francisco a tour of their new headquarters. They attend Guy DeMondue's exhibition, where a lot of the crowd are dressed as X-Men. Suddenly Magneto turns up and attacks Colossus, his powers actually restored. He then somehow activates the Sentinels and starts his attack against the X-Men. Emma notices that the Sentinels strangely do not attack Magneto. Thunderbolt manages to defeat Magneto revealing that the Sentinels didn't attack because his powers were due to a high-tech suit. He teleports away before he can be caught. Meanwhile at the Dreaming Celestial, the High Evolutionary is tinkering with it helped by Kingo Sunen who is under his influence. Magneto, Blob and the High Evolutionary discuss their plans on a starship. Emma broadcasts Cyclop's thoughts announcing that the X-Men are alive and San Francisco is a sanctuary for all. Logan visits Guy DeMondue in his studio and finds him dead.; Magneto's presence helps awaken Professor X. Frenzy does not believe that he should be saved and threatens to kill Professor X. Magneto steps in and burns her eye out with a surgical laser. Exodus then looks to kill Magneto for his actions but Professor X steps in and fights him.; Beast returns to the mansion and cleans up, finally locking it all up.
