The Rajah of Dishpanistan comes to Fleabite to rest his nerves after four attempts to remove him from the throne by stealing the Sacred Ruby which makes its possessor the Rajah. Prince Ali-Oop uses the Catfish Kid and his gang to try to steal the ruby.; T. Skinflint Nursenickle, an eccentric millionaire, invents a wind-powered wagon that sails on land or water. Nursenickle is hired to transport gold from Fleabite to Wishbone City, but his wagon is hijacked by Prof. Presto and his gang.; An anthropologist who has bought a wagonload of totem poles hires Herman to guard them. Chief Eaglebeak steals the totems.
