Bunny Rabbit is planting a garden to try to win a contest, but a pair of swallows are creating problems for him.; Captain Kangaroo is fixing the toys in the Treasure House in order to donate them to the children in the hospital. At midnight the toys all come to life. One selfish doll has pretended to be broken so she won't have to go to the hospital. When she learns the rest of the toys will be leaving her, she tries to damage them so they'll be left behind with her.; Grandfather Clock tells the story of the Wizard of Waz and his magic hat, using the Treasure House characters in the roles.; Puppy Dog stars in a parody of "King Kong," complete with dinosaurs and giant ape.; The zoo has its grand opening, but Mr. Green Jeans has forgotten to mail the announcements to the newspapers, so no one is coming. Captain Kangaroo comes up with a plan to use some balloons for advertising.; The Captain has spent the day fishing and only caught three shoes instead of fish.; The Captain and Mr. Green Jeans take a ride on a roller coaster.; The Captain is giving Mr. Green Jeans unsolicited advice about the care of his fruit tree.
