Daffy meets up with "Two-Gun Gertie" in a Wild West town. Gertie is better at shooting, roping, and riding than the men, who are scared of her. Daffy accidentally insults Gertie and the two decide their differences in a main street showdown.; Elmer decides to take a train trip to spend the winter in the South and get away from Daffy. Daffy hides in his luggage and causes havoc when his prank about Elmer having counterfeit money is taken seriously.; Tired of being picked on because he's a duck, Daffy decides to change his identity by wearing a stuffed deer's head. Unfortunately, he forgets it's deer hunting season.; When Elmer's hot dog stand is threatened by the opening of a modern drive-in restaurant nearby, Daffy tries to help him by doing skywriting advertising with some flour.; Daffy uses a bow and arrow to steal pancakes from Elmer's lunch wagon.; Daffy fishes from the back of a boat in the Tunnel of Love at an amusement park.; Daffy takes refuge from a rainstorm by sitting under the hood of Elmer's car.
