Goober, Jeannie, and Johnnie fix up an old broken wind-up record player to use as a hand-organ. With Goober playing the part of a monkey and Jeannie and Johnnie singing "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush," the trio attract a crowd downtown. They are taken to the police station for not having an organ grinder's license, but end up performing on the Police Athletic League television program.; Goober gets Jeannie and Johnnie to crank his ice-cream freezer for him.; Goober and Johnnie take some old newspapers in for scrap, but on the way a strong wind scatters the papers over the neighborhood, with some surprising results.; Measles goes to the woods to get some exercise.; Jeannie and Johnnie go to the woods to hunt for nuts, while Goober finds it simpler to use a vending machine.; Jeannie pretends to knock out Johnnie with a boxing glove in order to fool Goober.; Goober and Johnnie have an ice-skating race.
