Pete thinks he's signing up for a free trip to Africa, but he's really signing himself and Francis up with the Foreign Legion. In the desert, the pair are assigned to bring in the bandit, Ben Ali Gazoom.; Francis gets Pete in trouble with a policeman and the two are taken to the police station. There they accidentally end up going through the screening process for becoming a police officer.; Pete and Francis are sleeping in a barn. Francis' snoring is so loud the farmer thinks an animal is prowling around the barn.; Francis eats a juggler's apples as he's juggling them and the talent agent thinks the juggler is a great magician.; A street peddler, selling a strength serum called "Peppo," insults Francis and gets kicked in return.
