Mary Jane's Indian head pennies have escaped from her bank. She and Sniffles get Cactus Pete the Indian scout to help round them up. Pete and Sniffles get captured, but Mary Jane saves the day by riding in on a buffalo nickel.; Outlaw bumblebees are trying to take the honeybees' honey. Mary Jane and Sniffles try to help the honeybees but have to flee from the bumblebees and hide in a bookworm's book.; Sniffles and Mary Jane help a homing pigeon who's lost his way and is being bullied by a larger pigeon.; Mary Jane and Sniffles are playing in Gus Gopher's burrow. A mean desert rat decides that there is gold in Gus's burrow and floods them out. Mary Jane and Sniffles capture the rat with an old fishing rod and reel.; Mary Jane's sewing needles object when Sniffles tries to stick a thread through their eyes.; Sniffles rents a room from Mr. Bookworm, but is kept awake by the jingling of Mary Jane's piggy bank.; An electric toy train's whistle and bell are broken and Sniffles has to find a substitute.
