Under community pressure he finally agrees to accept collateral. Wart says that for ANOTHER twenty-five cents, he can make money on the collateral.; Wart and his friends have space suits to play space men, but insist on excluding the girls. When the boys take over a junk boiler to be their spaceship, Matilda convinces the scrap dealer to haul it away with the boys still inside.; Wart's dog is so relaxed that Wart tries to liven him up by entering him into a dog show. Since only purebreds are admitted Wart's dog can't participate, but when a passerby steps on his tail, the dog rouses up and seizes him by the leg. Since it turns out that the man has just robbed the dog show receipts, Wart's dog becomes a hero.; Annoyed at this brother's bossy supervision, Wart decides to run away from home. After a morning of hard work, followed by an afternoon of wandering around town, he falls asleep at the supper table and the brother has to put him to bed.; Wart's dog distracts a threatening bulldog by scratching himself, which fixates the bulldog on scratching instead of fighting.; The police officer insists that dogs must be leashed in the park. Wart steals a clothesline for a leash, and the officer trips on it.; The brother looks like an accomplished acrobat, but he's only reacting after Wart accidentally whacks the brother's toe with a hammer.
