Dottie wants Rootie to take her to the baseball game, but he'd rather go to the game with the other boys.; When Rootie's clubhouse is blown down by a windstorm, the club members decided to rebuild it bigger and better than before. Their rivals, the Tough Guys Club, don't want the new clubhouse to be better than theirs, so they threaten to tear down any clubhouse Rootie's club builds.; Rootie takes Dottie to his Zany Zoo, which features nonsensical animals like the Fidgell, the Boojy, the Glonk, the Quissie, the Twaddy, and the Bliff.; Rootie tells Poochie a bedtime story about a woodcarver who carves a wooden dog that is brought to life by Winkety Blink, the lucky star.; Rootie uses his magic Kazootie to step into a jungle program on TV. He immediately gets into trouble and is saved when Gala-Poochie uses the magic Kazootie.; Two cats use a fence to confuse Gala-Poochie when he tries to chase them.; Dottie is hitchhiking on a sidewalk, but the only one who'll stop is Rootie. She ends up pushing Rootie in his soapbox racecar (and swearing (!X*@!x!) in a most unladylike manner.); Rootie finds a dime and remembers the old saying "Finders keepers". Unfortunately the rest of the saying "Losers weepers" also comes true.
