Woody flies to Alaska to prospect for gold. He hires an incompetent guide, Chief Wormy-Apple, but the pair stumble across a gold mine that is supposedly haunted. The ghost in the mine turns out to be Sourdough Sam, a friend of the guide. The three accidentally discover a huge amount of gold, but waste their fortune by foolish spending on the way back south.; Woody and "Shorty," an ex-dog catcher, go into business as an armored car service, but are robbed on their very first trip.; Tackhammer falls into a tunnel that Woody is digging for some water pipes.; Woody helps a man parallel park his car--right by a fire hydrant.; After a rainstorm, Woody gets drenched when a store owner opens the awning in front of his store.
