NOTE: This is the first book in Yogi's first solo series. The first 3 issues of the series start in Four Color Comics and then transition over to a stand alone Yogi Bear series with issue #4. Yogi decides he wants to fly like a bird. After unsuccessful attempts, he goes to an airport and sits in the pilot's seat of an idling plane. A couple of crooks commander the plane and force him to take off, even though Yogi doesn't know how to fly the plane.; Yogi and Boo Boo start a newspaper, but Boo Boo's misreading of reporter Yogi's notes causes the forest to think that Mel Moose is pals with Barney Bull, the forest bully.; After being lectured on having good manners when interacting with the tourists, Yogi has to play with an obnoxious little boy.; An escaped convict and his Mounted Police pursuer take over Yogi and Boo Boo's beds for naps after a long pursuit. They leave their snowplanes (a cross between an airplane and a sled) outside. Yogi and Boo Boo go for a ride and meet up with the convict's pals.
