Kid Colt drives Dembro's gang from Longhorn, but in retaliation they begin striking stagecoaches to starve out the town. Colt leads the citizens out of the town and bests Dembro's gang in the field. Colt is given a chance to stay in Longhorn, but he declines.; Outlaw Dag Cullens becomes so notorious he becomes paranoid and tries to avoid people while running for the nearest border. Desperately hungry, he goes to a farmhouse but the farmer's son recognizes him and shoots him.; Sheriff Barton is ambushed by the outlaw Vince Regan; dying, he makes his four sons deputies and they pursue Regan, defeating his gang. Regan tries to kill the brothers with dynamite but they shoot him and the dynamite kills Regan; thus, their father is avenged.; Toby Davis hates strangers and seemingly drives Rex Carter out of town. When Blackie Fallon shows up, Toby tries to intimidate him too, only to find himself in a fight; Rex returns and saves Toby, revealing himself to be a US Marshal as he arrests Blackie.; Mr. Webster isn't happy with the town sheriff's work, but the sheriff saves him from a robber, changing his mind.
