Inuyasha survives Renkotsu's explosion. Miroku and Sango find Kagura waiting for them in the cave inside of Mount Hakurei.; Koga takes on Renkotsu and Ginkotsu. Meanwhile Jyakotsu lies in wait for Sesshomaru.; Koga succeeds in killing Ginkotsu, but Renkotsu escapes with his comrade's jewel shard. Sesshomaru proves to be a more formidable opponent than Jyakotsu assumed. Rin falls into Suikotsu's hands.; Sesshomaru pursues Suikotsu and Jyakotsu onto Mount Hakurei itself.; Kikyo intervenes in the battle to keep Suikotsu from killing Rin.; Jyakotsu escapes with Suikotsu's shard. Kohaku has Miroku and Sango under surveillance. Renkotsu confronts Inuyasha.; Renkotsu plans to dynamite the cave where Koga and Kagome are, and himself along with it.; Miroku must suck poisonous demon wasps into his wind tunnel to save Sango's life.; A dying Miroku tries to evacuate Sango from the demon cavern inside Mount Hakurei. Inuyasha pierces the barrier around the mount, attempting to look for Miroku. The barrier robs him of his demon half. And then Renkotsu appears.; Inuyasha must fight Jyakotsu as a mortal. Miroku and Sango stumble onto Lord Hakushin's resting place.
