Meioju the turtle demon attacks a castle seeking the return of part of its stolen shell. Inuyasha claims he is a corpse reanimated by Moryomaru.; Inuyasha learns from Totosai that the Tetsusaiga may now be more powerful than he can safely wield. Byukuya reports the same news to Naraku.; While Inuyasha tries to keep Meioju from the sacred armor, Sesshomaru attacks Byakuya.; Miroku discovers that Moryomaru is trying to get Inuyasha to slay Meioju in order to absorb the powers of the turtle demon's impenetrable shell.; Moryomaru not only manages to steal the power of Meioju's shell, but Inuyasha's diamond spears attack as well. And Moryomaru is being controlled by Akago.; Sensing Akago is within Moryomaru, Kikyo and Kohaku confront the demon, unaware of his recently acquired invincible shell and new attack.; Inuyasha competes with Sesshomaru to kill Moryomaru, while Moryomaru seeks to absorb them both.; Learning of Kagura's death sets both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru off.; Sasshomaru's blade breaks against Moryomaru's shell and he is seemingly absorbed.; The combined assaults of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and Kikyo manage to drive Moryomaru off.
