Inuyasha prevents Miroku from using his wind tunnel. Kohaku is unable to prevent Sango from striking at Naraku's illusion.; Inuyasha throws off possession when he sees Kagome in peril. Magatsuhi next tries to possess Kagome.; Magatsuhi's destruction frees Kagome's spiritual powers and prompts Naraku to intensify his attacks.; Naraku tries to make Sango choose between killing him, which would also destroy Rin, and allowing Miroku to be swallowed up by his wind tunnel. At the same time, he tries to coerce Miroku into using his wind tunnel without knowing that Sango would be consumed as well.; Kagome manages to disrupt the illusion enough so that Rin isn't hurt. Meanwhile Inuyasha and Sesshomaru launch attacks on Naraku's core from different fronts.; Sango's kamikaze attack on Naraku only results in her being poisoned by Naraku's miasma.; Naraku attempts to merge with the Shikon Jewel, but Kagome stops him.; The Meido attack evolves into a cutting attack, slashing Naraku's body to shreds. Then Sesshomaru attacks with his blade.; Naraku has Byakuya attack Kagome with the Meido blade to keep her from delivering the final blow.
