In the middle of fighting Moryomaru's arm, which is seeking to absorb him, Koga feels the power of the Shikon shards in his legs dim.; Koga travels to the burial ground of the wolf-demon tribe to retrieve an ancient weapon buried there. But first he must defeat the guardian of the burial ground, a giant three-headed wolf.; Koga finds the burial guardian hard to destroy. It warns him the shards in his legs are controlled by the will of another.; Koga wins the Goraishi and the vow from his ancestors that they will protect his shards from outside influence - - but only once.; Shippo is captured by a forest demon seeking to use him as a shield against Inuyasha so she can steal his demon energy with her blade.; Angered when Inuyasha attacks Mujina without any concern as to whether he'll be injured, Shippo begins helping Mujina against Inuyasha.; Shippo learns that Mujina isn't interested in avenging her father and that Mujina isn't what she seems to be.; Inuyasha discovers that the blade Dakki was forged from one of the scales of a powerful demon named Ryujin. He seeks out the swordsmith who forged the blade.; Inuyasha confronts Ryujin and his impenetrable shield that siphons an attacker's energy away.; After Inuyasha defeats Ryujin, Toshu absorbs his power into the sword Dakki and turns on Inuyasha.
