Jughead and January must travel to the Middle Ages to stop a time traveller named Morgan Le Fay from using future weapons in the past to take over the world. During the adventure, they meet Arthur and Merlin.; Jughead brings an English palace guard hat to school. When Reggie bets Jughead a dinner of bangers and mash that Jughead can't stand still like those guards, Jughead takes the bet. Jughead also agrees to guard a special date pin for Archie.
