Communist spy Kessler is landed by submarine on the U.S. coast in an attempt to steal the secrets to the "B-Bomb."; Lou Fields is briefly held hostage by a robber. At first he refuses to describe the man, fearing reprisals.; Handsome cop Burton goes undercover to capture some smugglers. Although exposed as a detective, he uses a pocket mirror, under the guise of combing his hair, to alert the Coast Guard.; Haberdasher John Henry is robbed by a masked man, who takes a dollar bill patched with tape. Several days later, Matt Ainsley buys a pack of cigarettes with the same dollar and is arrested for the robbery.
