Dilton's speech and some of the documents get mixed up and Dilton is arrested as a spy.; Mr. Andrews reads an article in the newspaper about teenagers eloping. When he overhears Archie talking to Veronica about going on a trip and having his bags packed, Mr. Andrews assumes the worst.; The gang tours the Declaration of Independence then returns home.; Jughead convinces the bus driver to stop at the White House -- a drive-by diner. Finally, after a long bus ride, everyone arrives safely in Washington, D.C.; The gang goes to the Smithsonian Institute. Chaos follows as Archie tries to keep Dilton out of trouble. But when the 2 boys struggle, Archie falls into the Wright Brothers' plane that's hanging from a ceiling wire. The wire snaps and Archie glides the plane through the Smithsonian Institute.
