Felix Fortran uses the hypnotic computer Subrinco to take over the company where Dot's father works, with plans to take over all companies in the city.; Dot's penchant for punching holes (dots) in things inadvertently changes Subrinco's punch-card driven programming and saves the day.; Richie and his pals visit the Rich Bar $ Ranch, but when they arrive, all of the people Richie expects to be there running the place have been replaced by rough-looking characters.; Richie and Freckles outsmart the bad guys' plot to steal gold from the Old Kincaid mine.; A dotted rock that Dot asks her father to carry in his briefcase comes in handy when a robber tries to steal from them.; Lotta bakes a pie and Dot suggests she puts it on the windowsill to cool. She knows her Uncle Rush will be jogging by shortly, but doesn't anticipate that the wind he creates as he rushes by will blow the pie onto Lotta's head.; While on a self-imposed diet, Lotta suffers as she smells all the food at a carnival. However, when she sees her thin figure in a distorting fun-house mirror, she decides she no longer needs the diet.
