When a girl on a train gets stepped on, she decides to get back at him by writing a note to him, claiming she was a British agent in danger of being killed. When he speaks to her about the note, she refers to another man on the train as a spy who will kill her if he suspects she knows about him. Feeling guilty because the man is so nice, she hurries to get off the train but forgets her handbag. When the 'spy' attempts to return her handbag, the first man thinks he is trying to kill her and rushes to attack him.; Dropping off books for her roommate at the library, Susan thinks she's found the perfect guy for her there. But her attempts to get them together fizzle when Jane doesn't show up at the coffee bar where Susan had arranged for Arthur to show up. At the Palais, Susan sees Jane dancing with Ivor and Arthur seems to hit it off with Sylvia.; Sara had always been clumsy and that's how she met Bill. Bill loved her anyway, but when he took her to the boss's house for dinner, she broke a valuable old Chinese vase. Bill gets fed up and they are going to break up, but Sara can't get the engagement ring off her finger. As Bill is leaving, he doesn't watch where he is going and falls. The fall gives him more sympathy for what Sara goes through.; An unconscious girl has been taken to St. Roger's Hospital with nothing among her possessions to establish her identity. When she recovers consciousness, her memory is a blank. Now they discover that she was married to Len Travis and lost her memory the day he came out of prison.; Peg makes a teddy bear for her cousin Beryl's baby, but decides to keep it for herself.; Garfield starts working on a fence and puts a post in the ground, but his neighbor claims it is on his property. Eileen tries to break up the argument before it turns violent by telling him the car needs petrol. On the way to the garage, he witnesses an accident. A few days later, he receives letters summoning him to court: once in the morning about the garage fence, and again in the afternoon as a witness to an accident. Garfield looks forward to appearing in court and starts practising his 'barrister' skills.; Kim goes on about her wealthy father's hi-fi and other electronic equipment when Tab quips that his own fi is probably higher than her dad's. Tab had assumed she wouldn't be visiting his place, but the next day he gets a note saying she was coming over on Friday. Tab scrambles to borrow electronic gear from his friends and Kim is impressed. Then she adds that her dad was buying all new equipment. Tab could have had all his old stuff, but she can see it would be an insult.; Sheila drops lots of hints to the boy next door, but he hasn't asked her for a date.
