Two ex-cons get an idea for revenge on B.P. by having a little orphan girl interrupt B.P.'s benefit show at the orphanage and tell how B.P. wants kids to grow up criminals so that she can get credit for arresting them. B.P. interrogates the child and learns the two thugs have kidnapped her brother to make her go along with their plan. B.P. posses as a cab driver to learn the men's hideout address and goes to free the girl's brother and apprehend the hoods. The girl goes on stage and admits the whole thing she said earlier was a fabrication.; Sun Girl fights the legions of Kain of the other-dimensional land of Uncara.; Namor meets Henry Entwhistle and his imaginary friend Gilly, who rides on his shoulder and hates water. After encountering Black Mike and his crew, Gilly changes his mind about water (and speaks in the last panel, so maybe he's not so imaginary after all).; The imp of the violin makes life difficult for Vincent Varl when he has to start playing Jazz instead of classical in order to make a living. But exposure to the club scene and pretty girls changes the imp's mind and he becomes a jazz fan.; The Sub-Mariner incongruously judges a baby beauty contest.
