Killings and robberies have lately been done by the Phantom Killer, and Sheriff Newt has no clues. Mr. Nevers is jealous of Bob and tries to pin him as the Phantom Killer..; Two wanted outlaws are trailing Little Beaver and Po-ko to an old mine to kill them. They are the only ones who have seen the wanted posters and can recognize them.; Red is delivering a prisoner to Sheriff Banks in Bitteroot for Newt, but is ambushed by the prisoner's buddies and tied up. Little Beaver is not far behind; Auntie puts arsenic instead of sugar in the frosting on the cake, and when two men appear, they get to taste it. When Sheriff Newt arrives, he finds out they are the wanted bankrobbers.
