Gina has run away to London to hide from her stuffy old uncle who wants them to move to a group of islands miles from anywhere. Her uncle's assistant traces her there. Despite the fact that he wants to carry her off to the Farthing Islands against her will, she is fascinated by the tough Alex. She agrees to go out with him. Her friend, Joe, tries to protect her, but when she and Alex give Joe the slip, she discovers she is being kidnapped.; Bill represented a big Australian wool firm and was often complaining about the weather in England. Lisa had heard it before and suddenly it was as much as she could take. She told him off and stated that she liked winter sports. Afterwards, she slips on the ice and badly sprains her ankle. Laid up at home, she wonders how Bill is passing his time until a friend stops over and tells her that he has taken her advice about enjoying winter sports. The next evening, Bill shows up at her house and tells her that he has been looking for her.; A mysterious masked man seems intent on getting Kitty off her land. The sheriff is determined to find out who it is, but Kitty just wants to sell her land and leave. Clip kidnaps her and takes her to jail to keep her out of danger. But Kitty secretly loves Clip and is afraid he will be killed on account of her.; Sandy responds rudely when Beth tries to sell him some Christmas cards. Discovering he is new with no family, she invites him to their club where he starts making friends. Sandy comes back to Beth and buys two dozen cards from her. Soon she learns all the other girls in the club received a card from him except her. And when she attends a party at his place, she discovers that he has displayed cards sent to him from the other girls but not the card she sent.; Dejected because her ex-boyfriend had found someone else, Pat was walking home after leaving a dance on Christmas Eve when she encountered a woman and her son who had been locked out of their flat.
