While investigating the death of Enid Harper, and the disappearance of Carla Swanson, Wonder Woman allows herself to be captured and discovers an insideous plot by Baroness von Gunther to brainwash girls by her spies.; Charles Collins volunteers to pilot a bomber being sent to England so that he can get into action against the Germans.; While on his daily training run, Ted runs into a "newly certified" detective, Stretch Skinner...then he smells a rat when he makes the connection between jewel heists taking place and the firm that awarded Stretch his diploma!; Count Valdez and Don Carlos (the King's son) plot to place Don Carlos on the throne by imprisoning the King. But the jester tips off The Black Pirate, who rescues the King, imprisons Count Valdez and helps to kill Don Carlos.; When Buster Anderson arrests a big time hood, he discovers to his dismay that he and his goons have too much pull to remain in jail. So Mr. Terrific decides to intervene by distributing specially marked "bribe money" through underground channels to entrap Dapper Joe.
