Superman agrees to undergo the powerful rays of a machine designed to study brain tissue, but, instead, ends up with temporary amnesia and he forgets his secret identity.; The Toyman, having read up on the French Revolution, discovers that many rich noblemen, before being seized and executed, hid their treasures in a variety of things. Superman must stop the diabolical genius from actually succeeding in seizing that loot.; Superman, in the guise of Clark Kent, travels with Lois to Ski Valley, which is being threatened by a death bird: a half-man, half-bird creature of Indian lore, and discovers a gang of crooks using this "bird" to scare off patrons so they can successfully smuggle out stolen furs.; Lois is assigned to cover a story at the City Park Zoo, but runs into a group of park pickpockets that changes the angle of the story.
