Hank Pym has gained possession of the android Dragon Man, who was rendered inert since his last fight with the Fantastic Four. As soon as Pym gets the android in his lab, however, Diablo appears, reactivating the android. Dragon Man conquers the Avengers and takes Goliath and the Wasp captive. But, when he meets the Avengers, they attack him, not knowing that this new Black Knight is on their side. Meanwhile, in Olympus, Hercules finds that the gods are missing and the Promethean Flame has been extinguished.; In Olympus, the gods have vanished, but Hercules is confronted by Typhon. Meanwhile, Magneto hauls Wanda and Pietro to his secret lair, then to the U.N. where he demands a separate nation for mutants. Hawkeye, Goliath, and Wasp run them off but Wanda is wounded. Typhon banishes Hercules to a world unknown and sits on the throne of Zeus.; Black Panther becomes an Avenger.; Magneto lures the Avengers to his island base to fight off the invading X-Men. Even after mind controlling the X-Men into hating the Avengers, the two teams outwit Magneto and team up to defeat him.; The Avengers fight the new Masters of Evil, this time lead by Ultron, in the guise of the Crimson Cowl.; The Vision arrives at Avengers mansion to kill our heroes but ends up bucking his programming and leading the team to his former master where he helps defeat him.; The Vision asks to become an Avenger and the team agrees once they learn a little bit of his origins.; To audition to join the Revengers, Forbush-Man fights Dang the Conqueror in the year 1,000,000 BC.
