Later Basara, Mio and Maria are attacked by a demon seeking Mio's power.; Basara, Mio and Maria are confronted by three heroes from Basara's village, all seeking to exterminate Mio. And one, Hayase Takashi, is in possession of the cursed spear Byakko.; Basara, Mio and Maria prepare for the battle that will determine whether Mio lives or dies. Yuki seeks out Basara and pleads with him not to participate.
