A vampire scare hangs over a little town. When a new boy at school confesses that his daddy is a vampire, the elderly school teacher Miss Albright investigates. Meeting the boy's father she discovers that he really is a vampire. But not the one she has been looking for...; Brilliant scientist Latham constructs a telescope-like thought machine which pulls alien intelligence down to earth. Having just killed his wife in a domestic quarrel, the alien intruder takes over Flora's body. Alien Flora urges Latham to adjust the machine's beam so that millions of invaders can come down to earth. In a last effort, the scientist blows up his laboratory, thus saving the day.; Puppet master Lucas creates a wooden doll of Jack The Ripper, and to his astonishment, the doll comes alive and goes on a murder spree. When no one believes him, Lucas (stabbed by his devilish doll) sets the house on fire, and the puppet and master perish in the flames.; A magician loses his hands and gets new ones transplanted, which belong to a murderer executed 200 years before. While the magician starts strangling people, the ghost of the killer returns to reclaim his hands.; "In the museum of a central european country, there is a statue of two men which causes comment..." A sculptor, working on the faces of two struggling men, is killed by his brother. When the sculpture is revealed, the statues mysteriously show the faces of murderer and victim.; "The vampire of Belden Castle, in the Black Mountains of Hungary, is an oft-discussed item..." Tourists are attacked in their sleep by a vampire lady. One escapes, "but not before he snapped a picture of the scene". When rescue teams arrive to investigate about the photograph, they find only cobwebs.
