He starts to make advances to Josie, encouraged by Josie and discouraged by Pepper. But every time Clyde or anyone else sings his signature song "Sock It To Me," someone socks it to him.; The gang attends a medieval fair.; Archie becomes a lifeguard at the beach where Mr. Weatherbee is spending his summer.; A girl from Hawaii fascinates all the boys with her exotic dishes and dances, making all the girls jealous -- except Veronica.; Alexandra kicks her brother in the behind; Melody arrives with a message for Alex, written down in a place she can't forget. Josie and Alex get into a taxi and chase a stolen hearse. But when the negatives rip and Reggie puts them back together, he does it incorrectly, resulting in fake shots of Mr. Weatherbee abusing the teens.; When the gang learns that Lodge Industries plans to build an industrial complex on Riverdale's last remaining forest, they fight for the cancellation of the project.; Ulga fills in for Smithers and fights with Archie to keep him out.; Archie goes to borrow the Jones' riding mower, but gets caught up helping others while riding it home.; The guys help Mr. Weatherbee put shingles on the roof when his back hurts.; Archie is abandoned by his friends when he has to paint the garage on a hot summer day.; Jughead has a black eye and a jacket that Reggie gave him. When the girls ask about the black eye, Jughead makes it sound like Reggie gave it to him.; When Archie hears Jughead muttering Veronica in his sleep, he explains that he was dreaming of a meat statue named Veronica. However, the real Veronica finds out about the dream and chases down what she thinks is her secret admirer.; Archie tells Jughead why summer is the best season of the year, without once mentioning girls.; Archie seems to be going through a phase of being accident-prone.; When the gang goes backpacking, Veronica decides to bring Smithers to carry her supplies.; Veronica tries to get Archie to enjoy some upscale activities, such as dining on sushi and playing polo, but it appears they are too rich for his blood.; The gang works at Lodge Dairy Products for two weeks to prove to Mr. Lodge that teens can be good workers.; Archie faces some trouble with his fake surfing stories when Adam Chisholm and The Duke, real surfers, show up at the beach.; After learning that Betty despises summer, Archie and Veronica set her up as the judge of the "Mr. Sandman" contest.; Archie and Betty try to get some alone time at a party.; Archie becomes a caddy for Mr. Weatherbee, but as usual, causes more harm than help.; Mr. Weatherbee attends a barbecue at the Lodge mansion and Archie is there to wreak havoc.; Melody sees a religious fanatic's sign and becomes convinced that the world will come to an end soon.
