A young unpublished songwriter heads for the big city in order to sell some of his snappy tunes, but no one agrees to give him a chance until Wilbur Wolfingham steps into the scene, and Superman has to take a hand to see that the young man is not fleeced, but given the opportunity to strut his stuff before a noted publisher.; Batman and Robin become involved in a deadly rivalry between two country families, instigated by a man who hoodwinked one of the clans to help steal lens-grinding machines and hold them for ransom.
