On their way to prom, Archie's car gets a flat tire. Reggie shows up and offers Veronica a ride, but she declines. Right after Reggie leaves, Chief Johnson shows up and offers the two a ride to prom in his new firetruck.; Mrs. Andrews asks Archie to return something Mrs. Jones left at the Andrews' house earlier -- her purse! Now Archie has to return the purse without being seen by the gang.; Archie and Jughead help the girls pull taffy. But the taffy is too big, too hot and too sticky. Then Mr. Weatherbee gets tangled up in it.; Betty and Veronica convince Archie that he's like a tiger, a predatory beast.
