When Veronica makes plans to stop by the Andrews house, Archie goes into a cleaning frenzy and gets his parents to change into more formal attire.; Despite his best schemes, Reggie is continually thwarted in breaking up Archie and Veronica.; Archie has several misadventures when he brings a new lamp post from the store back home for his dad.; Mr. Weatherbee adds some "Jiffy-Gro" to his rubber plant, hoping it will grow. But when Archie accidently destroys the plant, he sends Moose to the flower shop to get a replacement. Moose does so, but the one he gets is twice the size of the original, and Mr. Weatherbee believes the "Jiffy-Gro" plant food really works wonders.; The girls work on their spelling skills.
