Lacking the money for a ticket, Archie gets a job at the new swinging discotheque, and tries to sneak away from his work with the flashing lights to get a dance with Veronica.; The gang thinks they've discovered the remains of an ancient American monarchy, and start digging on the school grounds to find more evidence.; When Veronica is catching a cold due to her skimpy winter outfit, Archie gives her an elaborate remedy to stave off the cold.; Archie manages to raise the money to take Veronica to a big ball, but doesn't have anything left over. He arranges a scheme with Jughead to prevent him from having to spend any more money without looking cheap.
